hello all i hope some one can hel me a lil. i was lookin forward to gettin a caiman or a gator, untill i did my research and found a gator to get a lil to big for the big city. so i am thinkin of a spectacled, cuvier's, or smooth front caiman. i was just wondering if any one could give me some personal info on which of the three is best suited for captivity, ease of feedin and best personality. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanx everyone

Spectacled are not available in the pet trade anymore (or least not readily). They are very aggressive and would be the largest of the 3. The 2 species of dwarf's are shy and still get pretty big, esp the trig's (smooth front). Most people with the cuvier'ssay that they are very shy and more aggro than the trigs.
So all in all, the cuvier's would be the smallest. None of them would be readily handable, and all will eat like pigs if they are healthy.
