Hey Thomas, this snake has been proven out. I got the first group offered for sale and Terry Vandeventer was the guy who got the project off the ground. I will do my best to write about the history of the snake asap. It is an interesting story for sure. ttyl Tom Stevens

Im not implying anything but I find it quite remarkable how identical those are to the Whitesided Brooksi. I know the WS Speck has been around longer as its in the Bechtel book which has been around for quite sometime. Very strange and also a beautiful snake !

Hey Keith, of course they're very similar but the Brooksi have the chain pattern on the back and Specks do not. I can't say every Brooksi does but some sure do. I have a feeling you know the history of this snake, but I am going to d my best to write it up and post it asap. Terry Vandeventer told me it in detail before I bought my group from him but I don't speak to him very often and didn't save the story... I want to do my best to get it right the first time. Since I first posted this snake online months ago 1 out of every 10 people tries to shut it down as a cross.....it is not. I know I am a hobbiest working my way into full breeder status but that should not automatically draw negative remarks about a new[yes I know the original snake is over a decade old] project. The "that snake is not new!"neckheads that emailed me last time could not give me the name of ANYONE who owned some. This is why I do not post pics of it often. It is a great snake, and a cool project, and I feel very lucky to be in on it. I asked about buying some a few times and Terry said not yet as he intended to keep these. I emailed him about buying some other snakes and mentioned these and just by chance he had just decided to let the group go. I jumped on em and bought them immediately. I will write more about the snake asap. Tom Stevens

You know it bro. Your at the top of the list with a few other good friends. I wish these grew like Brooksi! They are just not the same eating machines, but i am sure it will be worth the wait. Not too mention breeding them at 3 years will be better than psuhing them on thier second year. Tom Stevens
