Morality Test

Eric East Dec 17, 2004 04:11 PM

This test only has one question but it's a very important one.

>By giving an honest answer you will discover where you stand morally.

>The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you

>will have to make a decision.

>Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.

>Please scroll down slowly and consider each line.

>You are in Florida.

>Miami, to be exact.

>There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding.

>This is a flood of biblical proportions.

>You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper.

>You're caught in the middle of this great disaster.

>The situation is nearly hopeless.

>You're trying to make a career out of shooting photos.

>There are houses and people swirling around you.

>Some are even disappearing under the water.

>Nature is showing all of its destructive fury.

>You see a woman in the water.

>She is fighting for her life, trying not to be taken away with the debris.

>You move closer . . somehow the woman looks familiar.

>Suddenly you know who it is . . It's Hillary Rodham Clinton!

>At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take her
>under, forever.

>You have two options:

>You can save her, or you can take the most dramatic photos of your life.

>So, you can save the life of Hillary Clinton, or you can shoot a Pulitzer
>Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most
>powerful women.

>Here's the question and please give an honest answer:

>Would you select color film or would you rather go with the classic
>simplicity of black and white?

Great Question!

I would have to opt for letting Hillary drown.

Wait....wait, before you jump to conclusions, it ISNT because she is so shrill...honestly...

Nopers!!
In truth, I cant swim myself! So saving Hillary would have been out of the question. Id save my own butt...maybe.. I would want to save her. But might need her as a floatation device if water levels rose later

Film?

I would use a Nikkon MACRO lens to capture the drops of sweat on her brow and the fixed look of horror.

Black and White ....of course

Q:Did I pass?

Take pictures with black and white film. Let the shreiking shrill clintonista go where nature takes her.

There is no real answer to this except one. While I thoroughly detest the woman's politics, I would save her as she does not deserve a death sentence. Besides, then she would owe me....

screw the camera....save her. She doesnt deserve to die....why waste a life?

Even if you were thinking about your own career you would still save her you know how much $$$$$ you could get from books, speaches, movies, etc?

Save her. As much as I dislike her, there are a couple of things to consider.

1) Is your career more important than a life? Careers can change, but once gone, a life if gone.

2) Will you be able to sleep at night? Will you think about this the rest of your life? Is it worth it, to have a successful career, if this haunts you the rest of your life?

3) Does it really matter who it is? Would you save her if it was, say, a single supermodel? (I know, I'm shallow ) Why would your decision change depending on who it is, what they look like/their personality/political positions? (except for, lets say, a convicted murderer--then take some pics!)

I have to disagree with your premise however. Frankly, I don't think she is really very powerful. I don't think she has a chance at becoming president. Condoleeza Rice is far more powerful in my opinion.---She has a much better chance at becoming pres., and she holds a much higher office than Hillary does currently. (though Hillary was once the acting pres.)

I'm always amused by people who are either too stupid or too cowardly to make factual assertions, but who, instead, hide behind fictional stories that actually say nothing, prove nothing, and add nothing to the debates of the day. Something we've come to expect from the lunatic, fundamentalist right wing extremists.

dfr Dec 21, 2004 10:10 AM

` It's not necessary to be a right-wing, reactionary wacko to be unimpressed with the Clintons.
` Those two did most of what it took to put Bush where he is today. I'll never forgive them for that.
` Drowning? Who cares. I do know that if both of them were on fire, I wouldn't pause to pee on them.

Name calling. Name calling. And more name calling. Will back ANY argument up. Call 'em enough names and you'll certainly convince 'em. This nicely removes the need to construct a clear, logical argument. Well done guys, us radical right wing fundamentalist morons have been put in our place. Now we're gonna go back to our prayer rugs

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall being asked if we would save her or take pictures, but instead..... whether we'd use color or black and white film. LOL. Happy Holidays.

Kodak moment aside, the question was to save or to shoot pics.

(Personally I would save the film for a Yeti....or maybe Nessie?????)

Actually it said.....

>Would you select color film or would you rather go with the classic
>simplicity of black and white?

And that's why I came to my conclusion. I'd use color film.
