Oh... THAT was hard to explain in English..! (I am Swedish) I don't know the word for it in English. It is kind of a finish that is used to be put on boats for example. It is used to protect the surface underneath and make it waterproof. I think you shall be able to buy this stuff at stores that sells paint etc. You have to ask so you get something *non-toxid* - some of this stuff can be very toxic....

Water-based polyurethane would be the best stuff to cover it in. All water-based SHOULD be non-toxic, but make sure you read the label first to double check.
