How to use thermostats

slackajack Dec 17, 2004 11:25 PM

This christmas is going to be really hot (i live in australia) and i think i'll need a thermostat for my snakes. My main question is how do you use them?

I use a heat lamp. There's a power chord that comes out and i plug it into the powerpoint. How do you put it in so it reads the temperature, and how do you program them and where do you put them and everything. If anyone could give me advice, a good website, or a picture, it would be appreciated, Jack

would be to go to the caging forum and do some searching in there or post your questions in there. There's already a ton of information in posted. I would suggest that you include some information specific to your application, though...maybe some notes about the type and size of cage you are using, the brand of thermostat, what you are using for substrate, etc.
