Need a little help here with Acidophilus

Rimstan Jul 02, 2003 09:50 PM

I have some house hold Acidophilus but, its with 100 MG of Apple Pectin.

I need to know if this will effect my beardie or not.

I need to get some of this stuff down him tomorrow if possible.

One more question about Electrod3ize Supplement.

I was thinking if it is possible he is not hydrated enough this would help him.

Will this be ok to put in his water.. I mean I bought it from Petco today and it has the little Beardie picture on the front like its approved and no problem.

Any help for these two questions would be great.

Thanks

As for the apple pectin I'm not sure what that is. I do know that the Wal-Mart by me sells the same one that my exotic vet uses. It's called Rexall and has Plant Polysaccharides, Lactobacillus acidophilus, and Bifidobacterium animalis BB-12. This one has worked for me in the past. It comes in capsule form full of powder to make it easier to dust prey, and salad. As for the electrol3ize it's a rather new product and I think it's just electrolites, and vitamin D3, and a few other vitamins. Should be safe but I never used it so can't give you a deffinate answer. I do know that just straight Pedialyte for babies, or Gatoraid sports drink has worked for others in the past with dehydrated dragons. Good Luck.
