Cleaning tanks

frogsandchams Dec 18, 2004 08:33 AM

How do I get rid of the white (is it calcium deposits??) on the side of the tank, inside and outside. I read once on this forum to use vinegar, but that hasn't worked for me.

The only thing that works for me is scrapping it off with a straight edge razor blade.

Greetings,

Try vinegar and salt together. It may need to soak several minutes.
