Funny/cute antics

SpindleRella Dec 18, 2004 09:23 AM

I've had my Snoopy for 2 years now and she never ceases to amaze me. She loves to crawl into my shirt and she'll fall asleep for an hour if I let her...my juvey beardie does the same but he better get out of the habit b/f he bcomes an adult. I do not need a spiney 2 ft. pocket pet lol. My beardi also like to jump onto my head and then jump down again. Anyone who says reptiles just sit there and do nothing are crazy! What unique, funny antics do your lizards have?

Haha...yup lizards are awesome thats all there is to it! My Blizzard I got at a show last month loves hair. I was holding her and she jumps into my hair and so I lean down to let her crawl onto my bed and she isn't in my hair anymore! I start freaking out because she vanished when the whole time she was on my shirt..lol. Keep geckos away from hair they're just like babies.

It's funny that you mention your Blizzard and hair! My female Blizzard "Sweet Pea" Loves to get under the back of my hair and go to sleep! I have another tremper :Bubba who loves pockets. A couple of teachers that I work with have freaked when I forget about Bubba and he comes crawling out of my pocket in the lounge!
Gotta love the Leopards!!!

Happy Holidays!!!

People ask me why I love herps, especially leos, so much and It's hard to get them to understand how cute they are and that each one has a different personality. It would be almost impossible for me to live without a lizard of some kind. You get hooked and you stay hooked!

I can agree with that. Everyday for the past 10 years, my iguana sits in the window at the same time, and hisses at the mailman. It's a daily ritual he shares with the family dog. The dog sits by the door to smell the mail coming in, and the iguana hisses as the mailman walks by the window. The mailman is the only person in the 14yrs that I've had my ig that he has ever hissed at. It's funny.
