TJP is 100% correct..... They are very capable of breaking glass..... All of my big gaboon elosers a re-enforced with a shatter proof glass that is not much different from a car windshield..... Just a bit thinner and straight.... Alittle pricey but worth the money.... A few years ago my oldest and largest gaboon (7 years old just over 6 feet) broke the glass on a vision cage..... I feel even modified all glass aquariums are not fit for venomous..... It is just an accident waiting to happen..... Also, 100 gallon fish tanks do not use half inch glass..... Quarter inch thick at best..... The only thing all glass aquariums are good for are fish and that is it.... They are worthless for anything else..... Besides, AGAs do not maintain proper heat, humidity, and do not offer the proper ventelation that most reptiles require..... Especialy for gaboons and rhino vipers.....

I can definitely believe that a Gaboon can break the 1/8" annealed glass sliding doors like on a vision cage. I find it ridiculous that a Gaboon would be capable of breaking the 5/16" thick tempered glass in a 75 or 100 gallon aquarium.

Not being the ideal enclosure for hots, or any type of snake. I do not agree with you about a snake being able to break 1/4", 5/16", 1/2" or whatever is in a 100 gallon aquarium with tempered glass though. Normal glass maybe, tempered glass....definitely not.
