My female leo, was "digging" on the glass (only the "pooping" side of the tank has newspaper). She was trying to dig through the glass for about 2 mins. Has anyone ever seen their geckos do this?? Thnx to all who reply

Yeah
Mine do this after I take her out of the terrarium.
Maybe it mean: Please, let me go out again !!!

she dig sometime on the bottom

Another observation I made: She dig up the sand of the left half of the terrarium into the right half !

Lamp is on the right, maybe she like the hot sand, or she plan to do a nest with the extra sand. It's very strange, she have clean exacly one half of the cage.

2 hide, one on the left and one on the right. Hide made with river rock, more natural than plastic cup

Female leos do this before they lay eggs. I have only seen it in females getting ready to lay

Well she layed a clutch of eggs 18 days ago and hasn't been with a male since, unless she retained sperm from the time she mated with the male i put with her (do leo's retain sperm and lay multiple clutches?).

yes they do retain sperm. take her out and look at her belly. you should be able to see the eggs if she is gravid. definately seems like preperation for egg laying to me.
