I think Pennebaker has the biggest tegu. I dont see her on this forum anymore, sometimes on the Frilled Dragon forum. Her Red Tegu is HUGE. I have a 4'4" 18lb male. I also have a young 4' male in hibernation right now. He is 4' and only 6˝lbs. meaning he still has a lot of growing to go before he stops and fills out. when they come out in Feb/March ill get some pics of them. I think my younger male is going to be make Taz (my older male) look tiny, just by looking at pics from age, and how stocky they were at a certain length.

Rufus was 6.7 lbs in July. He is still growing.

I have an 15 month old Argentine red that's nearly 57" and at least 25lbs or more. My Argentine B&W is 2 years old and about 49" and last time he was weighed he was 16lbs

Wow those are some big fatties you have there! Did you raise them? If so, what was the main staple of their diet for their first year? If you don't mind me asking? I am just curious.

Thanks Yes I raised them both from hatchlings, both barely 11" when I got them (although they are a year apart in age)

I fed my Argentine B&W mostly mice/rats and ground turkey w/calcium and vitamins added, and a few banana's here and there. My red the same, except no fruit. I've only had one shedding issue, because I didn't keep the humidity high enough at one time.

The red I fed twice a day, as much as it could eat, now he is fed every-other-day. I don't believe I fed my B&W the same amount when it was younger, although it did get fed everyday.

I haven't put a tape to Squishy since last June, but then he was a little over 1 year old and 48" on the button. Probably weighs around 15# but I'm a poor judge of weight. My guess is he's grown an inch or two since then. If I think of it, I will get an accurate weight and length on him over the holidays. Billy
