Hey i have a question for everyone... One of my tegu's has a skin problem and im looking for any hints about his skin.... He is a Arg. Red and i he is one a steady diet of adult mice and oranges,pears, strawberries, and sometimes grapes with Minerall with Vit D3. During the warmer months He and his mate stay outside on a great balcony that is about 10x10 and is good and covered with bark and dirt, but during the last few months he has been inside in a 6x3 cage with his mate (They are only about 12 months old) soo they are still "relatively" small. Im not sure whats going on with Mr. Snuffles skin though... Tuck and him eat the exact same and Tucks skin is beautiful where Tuck looks like he is in shed all the time, his skin is dry and cracked on the nose.. i want to know if there is anything else that i can do to help him with this problem... He is still kind of sleeping although ive been putting some fruit in the cage as of late and its been disappearing a little by a time...Is there anything else i can do before a trip to the vet or am i over reacting? its been about 4 weeks of this perma shed.....any advice would be welcomed.....
