thx for the welcome and pics of my henkeli

Thanks for the welcome! There sure seems to be a lot of really nice people here. We're still struggling a bit with his enclosure, but we're working it out.

I'm not very good at taking pictures - they always end up blurry - but I wanted to share pics of my little guy (or girl?). Isn't he or she precious?

here's another one

Thanks again!

Lisa

what i found to be the biggest problem with my digital camera is how steady the camera is when the picture is taken. try to stabalize the camera on a table or desk and see if it helps you out much. i'm not much into photography which is why i think i have problems with it ( plus the fact that my camera was only 100 bucks)
if you can adjust your shutter speed you may also want to do that ( speed it up a bit). other main key is lighting, that's probably the biggest pain i have now. good luck with your henkeli and post pictures of the setup when finished!

id say the blurriness in that pic looks most likely that its out of focus or the shutter speed is not optimal. the blurriness doesnt really look to be from an unsteady hand.

I agree, try and steady the camera. It does help, I still get blurred pics, I move, sometimes the lizards move. I still dont know all about my camera, takes a while to learn.

Your little baby is a cutie, I can see him, such BIG EYES, makes for a real cute face

Keep the pics coming blurred or not, I enjoyed seeing your new little friend.

Best of luck with him.
