1.5 million dollar Burm

west Dec 18, 2004 09:44 PM

I go to a local pet store in Northampton, Mass. and this guy there tells me he's got this albino burm. with the word LOVE and YO! and SOCK in his pattern. He tries to tell me someone on the West Coast offered him 1.5 Mill. for it?! His next sentence is, "The phone is off right now because I am trying to finance a self to display him in the store." This is the website address he gave me... www.malachibreeders.com

Has this guy taken to much acid or what? Please comment.

Yes there probably is someone that stupid to pay that much for that.
And if so why is it not gone. Ya I am attached to my snakes but not 1.5 attached.
I think he probably raised the price by 1,499,000 if that.

What a trip!! I checked out the site...and I am laughing!
Remember being a kid, and you'd lie back and see the pics in the clouds?
Of how about the ink blot test that psychologists use?
By the way...I have an albino burm...if you check it out, and look closely, you can actually see the entire Old Testament in his pattern!!
Not for sale though!
Lolololol...
I think the owner of this albino burm should have waited until way after the office Christmas party to check out his snake.
Does the snake talk too?
Whatever he was taking...I want some too!

If you look really close at one of my green anacondas, in it's pattern it says "OoOoOOO"!!!!!!!!!!! I mean I'm sure someone could buy this for a good $80,000, but I think I'm going to have to decline that offer... Because if it's ever bred, I bet I can get baby anacondas that say the same thing!!!!!!!! It's a crazy world

Okay I checked out the site and man.........what is the point behind this? Umm okay the guy likes albino burms........but even if the pattern had a named spelled in it that was completely visible and defined........it still isn't worth much.

Just my opinion.

This guy is off his rocker. I read the LOVE as LOYB7 so I guess he sees whatever he wants to see.

The last thing we need is crack smoking giant snake keepers.

Yeah...reluctantly i read through his entire website. i would like to know what professional breeders seriously wanted to buy that snake. i cant believe that he thinks that its a morph and that there are possibilities of it proving out. Id have to agree that he is on something as well..but ill be damned if i take it, i dont want to start seeing words in my albino green's pattern.
