I ordered a snake from Sean and it was not shipped when he said it would be. Sean's wife contacted me a week later to let me know she was shipping the snake out the next day. She todl me that Sean had a family emergency. I don't know them from Adam but I trusted she would follow through. It did not happen and I did not hear form them for over a week. No one would answer my phone messages or emails. Then his site went down. This really made me worry so I began placing posts on Kingsnake to try to get some attention.

****Sean's wife contacted me via email to let me know that Sean was still dealing with a very important family crisis. SO many people are positing attesting to Sean's great character and his honesty. He must be a very nice man and I am confident he will come through. I am VERY embarrassed that I assumed the worst and was getting pushy and rude. I apologize to his wife and family for this and wish them well. The issue they are dealing with is far mor improtant than any businees issue and they could use all of our prayers. I apologize once again to Sean, his family , and friends.***********

I too do not know Sean, but it seems that many here do. I would have also jumped to the conclusion that I was taken under the circumstances that you had. The only issue that I see is that you jumped publicly on him (which was a violation of the TOS of the forum) A more prudent thing to do would have been to ask for information on him on the forum, which is what it is used for.
When have all dealt with people that we don’t know and heard all kinds of crazy stories as to why the snake can not be shipped or the money can not be sent. I even had a gut tell me once that he had to get a Heart transplant and could not send the money. Sick family members and car problems are the most common ones that we get (one of the reasons that I am not going retail/public this season and only selling to established folks)
So when someone really has a family emergency we tend to not accept it a face value. I wish Sean and his family the best, But I don’t fault you for your assumption.

I just want to say that ive only talked with Sean once or twice and i know how hard it is to have to put your snakes on hold for a family event, but i just want to sent out a prayer for him and his family and hope that whatever they are going through will turn out alright.. i hate to see anyone suffering and wish him the best of luck..
