I am curious as to what you all on this forum are suspecting to produce this coming season as far as Uroplatus go? Also, any U.henkeli breeders out there.lol.

Too be honest... I'm just expecting to make it through this season with everything intact. I'd love for all my animals to produce but am not counting on anything. But my eban's are mating so it could be another good season. Last season she produced 6 clutches of two eggs each. 3 survived.
Cheers
Jason
i too hope that everything else will make it good this year and i just want to add to my collection.as for babies i have two hatched satanics (1.1) and three eggs, as well as both of my females currently gravid(a mother and daughter) my ebanauie do nothing, but i hope to get a new male soon and my corkbarks were breeding the other day so its just a matter of time before i can get them to lay aome (hopefull) eggs.
I have two cork bark eggs (Uroplatus pietschmanni) that should hatch out this month some time. I have candled the eggs and they look pretty developed. I have another two eggs that should hatch out in January or Febuary. Also my female pietschmanni is gravid, in fact I think she might have lain some more eggs last night. I'll go check.

I breed Henkeli but I have a list of 35 people that want them! LoL
So far I have 6 eggs and my female is getting ready to lay to more! I have had good success with breeding my Henkeli since I only have a pair. But I am looking for another female or two but I am very picky as to what I will buy. I dont want any sick or half dead ones! THANKS ERIk

Hi Leland,
I expect to produce lots of cute little babies U. henkeli this year, as I did last year. I've got a single LTC pair, and one baby left over from last year that I decided to keep for myself. I wish I could find someone to do a simple bloodline trade with...

Hopefully Guentheri (They have copulated a month ago) and Pietschmanni. And hope to see all animals grow older and more beautifull.

Well I am hoping my male U. sikorae understands his role is not just to consume crickets, and sit idly by and watch my female eat the crickets. I swear all he does is watch her, and hides and eats when I am not around..he's a VERY VERY shy eater.
In short, after having a total of about 6-8 infertile eggs in about two months, I am hoping that 2005 brings me just a couple of live healthy U. sikorae.
