Can i feed my 10 inch long water dragon minnows as a staple diet, he seems to like them more then crix.

Some fish, like goldfish, have an enzyme in their gut that nutralizes vitam b after death.This is really only a problem when feeding prekilled fish, since the digestive forces of the waterdragons gut will nutralizes this enzyme. Otherwise fish are dirty critters gold fish and minnows in particular can transfer several nasty parasites. Nutrionally speaking they are far better then the crickets. If you do feed live fish avoid any with any signs of cysts or bad health. Generally you can see right through a minnow with a light in the back ground and see imbedded cysts in the muscle tissue.
