mealworms

how can i persuade my 4 inch leo to eat mealworms???

On you bed, a face to face, one on one, a duel!

The gecko against a mealworm !

you can try it !

or a more drastic way is to do not feed you gecko for a 4-5 days, and then put some mealies in.

or try hand feeding

Put the mealworms in a shallow dish, not to shallow that the meal worms can get out jus shallow enough that your leo can see the mealworms, put the dish in the tank and wait.

I had to just drop them one by one right in front of mine until she figured it out. She's just starting to eat out of the dish now.

Offer it mealworms and if it refuses, put some in a dish and leave it. If need be, it will go hungry for a couple days but will eventually try the mealies. This is what I did with my leos and they absolutely LOVE their mealworms now.
