cooks tree boas

mafia1989 Dec 19, 2004 08:41 AM

hi
I currently keep 5 snakes (4 corns and 1 columbian rainbow boa) and want to move onto something more harder to keep. So in a few months i plan to buy a cooks tree boa from my local rep shop (which they said it is a pure cooks tree boa) but i have heard they get sold as them but are really amazons.I been looking for a care sheet for a cooks tree boa every where but no luck any info or links to GOOD care sheets on both Species(cooks tree boa and amazon) will be greatfully apreiated.
many thanks mafia1989

With some info. on Cooks Treeboa's www.corallus.com you can click onto Cooks Treeboa's, and get info. on Natual History & Distribution, Habitat and Photo Gallery, click on to Online Articles, and you'll get caresheet's. I really dont think your local Reptile Shop Has "Real Cook's Treeboa's" but you never know ! Be very careful about buying Tree Boa's from a Pet Shop/Reptile Shop, almost all the Pet Shop's buy Wild Caught Amazon Tree Boa's, very cheap'ly from Animal Dealer's/Wholesaler's and these are "Not For Beginner's" ! ! ! ! You can find a Good selection of C.B.B. Amazon Tree Boa's in the Classified's on Kingsnake.com. If you do buy from the Shop, make sure it is Healthy & Feeding and make sure you see it eat ! Dont take there word for it ! Good Luck in finding your new Tree Boa ! Take Care !
