There is a fellow in Idaho named Mark Miller, and he has a large female Bci that resembles a "pastel." When he breeds this female to any normal, less than beautiful, (butt ugly) male the offspring all come out looking like "Mom."
I know that Jeremy Stone has bought a couple of animals from this line, because some of them look better than a lot of the Ronne-line pastels. I don't have any of the best examples, but I do have these pics of an '01 female, and an '03 female from this line. (I have a male '03 too, but no good pics of him yet)
I intend to breed F1 siblings, and see what happens with them, probably not till '06, but we'll see.
They don't seem to get very large, and I think they are really great looking.
I will be undertaking some breeding trials to see how this gene is inherited, and what the filial breedings produce.
