baby and dog food??

ok ive been reading the posts and i saw someone mention that they seringe feed their sick lizards baby or dog food. i want to give that a try. is any dog food ok in an emergency??

That was my post. Dog food is okay in an emergency, yes. Water it down a bit, and only force feed your lizard if you must. It's very stressful.

Personally, I'd go out and get the beef baby food asap.

Easyier to eat, more liquidy, and softer, easiy to swallow when force feeding. I think its quite nutritious considering human infants have to eat it.

Good luck, and do it in small portions , several times daily.
