FINALLY! A picutre of my baby cham!! DOES SHE LOOK HEALTHY?

tassadar898 Dec 19, 2004 01:23 PM

She's typically this color (without the stripes), does this mean she is stressed? Also i've identified she is a female form the lack of spurs. How does my cham look?

It is a female. And yes, she's a little darker than she should be. She's either stressed or the temps are too low. Check to see that she has a basking area of 85*-90*. Chams turn dark to absorb more heat.
Hope this helps,
Cricket

The tempature 95 at basking and 83 ambient. I think she is just a little stressed from the camera, and the reason why I think I always see her this color is whenever i approach she turns this color.

When I got her, she had a few pieces of skin on her head that flaked off, but she hasn't really shed under my 2 week care.
