Hmm a boa person huh? then I can talk to you........Do you own corns? because I just checked out your site but it says nothing about corns. Now I have a pair of boas and some balls getting more balls because not much room for alot of 4' cages. I been looking for something to get more experience with breeding and was told corns are good. You being a boa person yourself do you enjoy the corns? Im going to NY show next month and may get a pair, what would be a good het morph to get? How many boas do you keep I noiced just one cage in the pic. What do you keep in the long plastic box rack adults, breeder pairs or what?

Well, yes I do have Corns....but they are staying in Idaho right now with my friends at Gem State Reptiles until I can manage to cut through the red tape in Georgia. Corns are illegal here. I will certainly miss breeding season this year because of this. I am building a site dedicated to the Colubrids I produce...but I'm not in a big hurry since I'm 2500 miles away from most of my Colubrids.....

It's true, Boas are my firt love, but Corns are a not too distant second. I'll be straight with you...there is no doubt they make better pets than Boas...IMO. I have 31 boas. I am male heavy, but that's the way I like it. I work with boa c. occidentalis, boa c. imperator (mainland localities and morphs), and brazilian rainbows (epicrates c. cenchria). I use mostly manufactured cages and a few homemade melamine cages. The cage I think you are refering to is a Moonstruck exotics cage, but I also have Boaphile cages. I build my own racks...Shoebox, sweaterbox, and large tubs for yearling boas.I need to undate my workshop gallery. Thanks for checking out my site by the way.

What morph hets should you get? Which ones do you like the best? That's what it boils down to for me. I don't always go for the most expensive or newest...for example...I'll produce Blizzards until I have to give them away...or Creamsicles, because I think they're beautiful, and I think it's persoanlly gratifying to put the right animals together and make that happen...or let it happen as the case would be with Corns. Right now, I want to see where Bloodred and the Lava gene is going. I think Lava is HOT! If it were me, I would go for a pair triple hets...like maybe an Anery Type A, that's het for Lavender and Amel (albino). That way, you could make Snows, Opals, Amels, and Anerys...and a mess of hets. There are lots of very reasonably priced morphs that look amazing...butter snows, Blizzards, Hypo Lavender (personal favorite)....

Have fun wit hit...and for godsakes, post some pictures when you get them...Chris O
