Questions regarding rack system (size, lighting, brand). Please help

JDalbo Dec 19, 2004 09:00 PM

I am currently using aquariums and would like to switch to a rack system. I have a few questions though. I've been looking at the "ballroom rack" from boaphile, are these tubs large enough to house adult balls (34 1/2"L x 16 1/2"W x 5 5/8"H)? Are they a good rack to use? Also, when I decide to breed them, would I be able breed them in this size tub or do I need to go larger?
I've read that when preparing to breed, you decrease the length of daylight. It seems to me that using a rack with tubs that it would always be dark inside the tub. Do the snakes get adequate lighting and air circulation?
Which racks are everyone else using for adult balls?

Thanks, joe
