I just noticed today that my water monitor has swollen finger. Under the finger was a little scabby wound. I couldnt tell if it was puss, so I gave her a warm bath and tried to clean the wound. The "puss" came off very easily and left the wound raw. No puss really came out of the wound like I had expected. She has a similar wound the finger next to it, however, the finger is not swollen. One thing that I did notice for a long time was callous-looking marks on her hands and feet.
I dont believe this to be serious, she seems healthy in every other way, but I was a little concerned. Does anyone know what might have caused her finger to get so swollen if there is not puss oozing out? How should I go about treating her?
