My young male is around 5' now. Coming up on a year old. I have only been feeding him 2 Med. Rats since September. Doing fine on that.

So he is keeping him for now. My current animals and new house keep me very busy sometimes, and sometimes maintaining our vehicles with everything else combined. Im waiting to hear from a possible large monitor of a different species that if I decide to get when hes available will need another large cage, etc. He has said if he needs a home he doesnt want anyone else to have him but me.

Awesome pics man.... I always love to see new pics of Sobek. Is she loving her new cage? Do you have any cage plans that you are willing to post? I saw one similar to your cage and it was even insulated now that is cool. Do you also keep your beardies on dirt?

The same stuff that Sobek, Shadow, are on also. Shes loves the cage shes digs alot, hides, and basks as normal as you could ask and digests very very fast in it (1 large rat and 4-5 chicken peeps a week, sometimes 2 large rats, I think shes in another growth spurt).
