I'm writing an article from Uroplatus sp and I'm just little confused about the species.. so if some one could help me up and tell me how many defined Uroplatus species (subspecies?) there are. And ofcourse if some of the names are changed.

These I allready know
U.fimbriatus
U.phantasticus
U.ebenaui
U.lineatus
U.sikorae
U.henkeli
U.alluaudi
U.guenther
U.malahelo
U.malama
U.pietschmanni

U.malama, malahelo and pietschmanni info is allso needed.
So if you have some good advice or you know some good website mail or write a message to this post. Cheers Sami

And finally a pic of my CB male U.phantasticus

the other subspecies is sikore samatei, i am not sure if it is an officalk subspecies or not but the two are diffrent. samaties have pink inside their mouth while sikore sikoreare have black mouth. i have had bot types and if my memry serves me right, samaties were easier to handle in captivity for me. no obvios size or other morp[hological characteristics just the mouth color. i also think samaties were a tad more heat tolerant as well. hope this helps
