I removed these after noticing the number of eggs dwindling. I've experienced this problem with both WC gravid females and long-term captive females.

Those are some great photos. Have you been able to get Ensatina to breed in captivity? Or was that femal already gravid when you got her?

I ask because I've heard it is extremely difficult to get Ensatina to breed in captivity.

This one was gravid, but I have had others lay that bred in captivity. Check the thread on caudata.org concerning this.
