dirt and leaf litter, very simple very effective, maybe some cypress mulch mixed in as well.

go rake up a bag of oak leaves. make sure its oak (youll find acorns). i use it in all my enclosures. -john

topsoil, or feild dirt you can collect it anywhere the dont dump chemicals or pesticides, or topsoil, without fertalizer from home depot or like stores, mix with sand, a little sand, rake some leaves from the woods off the ground lay them on top, good to go
