So in addition to producing our own, we are always getting select Cresteds to expand our breeding stock. Here are a four examples of what I received from Allen Repashy last week - love them!

...we also received some new screamers from Anthony Caponetto, those will come a bit later.

Thanks for looking everyone – Happy Holidays!!!

Nice images.

I think they are "classic" Repashy-bred animals. Just beautiful - nice finish on the harlequin. I love the look.

A little hardware question: are you still shooting with a 300D - or did you get the 20? Do you use a flash?

Nice pictures.

Still using the 300D Monte. I'll have the new 20D within the next 4 months or so. Other support equipment (lenses and flashes) is taking precedence right now.

I use several lights with umbrella bounces (basicly 2 side lights and a fill flash). I've recently passed that system on to someone else who will make good use of it and will be replacing it within the next week.

Feel free to email me with any other questions...

Gorgeous pictures; that last harlequin is amazing. Would you let us know if you notice the cresties having any reaction to the poinsettia sap? I worked in the greenhouse trade for awhile, and even people occasionally had a reaction to the sap. Otherwise, it might be a very attractive way to dress up a display enclosure over the holidays, as for entertaining.

Well, they were only on the plant for about 5 minutes. No one has had a reaction of any type that I can observe.

People have made mention about the leaves being dangerous if eaten. But I can't see a sleepy Cresty taking a bite of a bitter leaf in the first few moments its in contact (and no one did).
