how do u no what color they wil lturn into. i got orange sand for a orange beardie? wil lit work

You never know what color they will turn into.. You can only know what genetic color traits they have and hope for the best.
For instance, I kept 2 of my hatchlings. The parents are a light normal male and a beautiful orange female. One hatchling turned out orange, the other looks to be a normal . They were both high color orange when little and are a year old now.

Well, if it's orange calci sand or the others,, it's not good for you beardie, (I know the pet store probably said it is, but they are wrong)

At the most,, if you your beardie gets wet,, the orange sand will dye your dragon orange.. so yes that will make him orange. He won't stay that way, it's just the dye they use in the sand.,

Or, if he eats too much of it he will die,, yes you can get both "die, and dye" from calci sand. Yaaaaa... (just kidding, it's not funny,, it is bad stuff)
