White crusty stuff onmy tortoises head?

cylt69 Dec 20, 2004 05:29 PM

I've noticed a build up of some crusty stuff on the head of my sulcata. It is not really white but has a yellow tone kinda like her skin. It is only near the front between her eyes and it is not a lot. Knda looks like really dry skin. Is this normal or is there something wrong?

Dip your finger in warm water and dab it on his head a few
times a day. If he's bigger you can mist his head with warm
water lightly. Mine did that as a youngster, now lately though.
Must be baby chapped head syndrom. lol
