A long time ago, I owned an adult WC couple of Elaphe carinata. These animals were quite ophiophageous indeed, but not cannibalistic. I kept both animals in the same cage, fed live mice to them in the same cage, and I never had to come between them. However, it's always best to keep them separated, especially if you want to be sure that both animals get an equal share of food. Good choice by the way. Yes, these guys are smelly, but who cares? Carinata rules!

Greetings,

Herman Bronsgeest.
