It finally pays off

After a couple of introduction to other males (probably not ready). I finally came home to this. I can't even tell you guys and gals how excited I am. This is my first time breeding BP or anything for that matter. I want to go and check on them every three seconds to watch them. I guess I wouldn't like that. A year of preparing for this. Next, Pastels!!

Finally!!!!!!

An overhead. The male is over 2000 grams and the female only 1550g. Wish it were the other way around but only way I could do it.

How long have they been going at it? How long are you keeping them together? Taking the female out for any periods of time?
Mine are still going at it. Its been almost 24 hours.

When I checked this morning, they were still hooked up... going on 18 hrs. The first time they hooked up was on 11/27; I kept them together for 3 nights. Then I separated them to feed the female and rest the male. Then I placed them together again but nothing happened for 3 days so I pulled him out. Since then I've fed both of them, he's shed and now at it again. I plan to keep them together until the weekend, then I will pull him out. I'll feed her and rest him for 3 days, this will give her time to digest, and then try again.
