i keep and breed satanics and curently have 2 pairs and 2 babies. i recomend keeping the leaftails in pairs and i use 10 gallon tanks. use screen lids and spray 2 times a day. i use uv lighting on all my guys.they are not perhaps one of the easiest to have and care for but with work , they can be quite rewarding.anymore questions i can try and help you with.
Hey cool, I have had them in the past but I would like to get captives this time and apparently no one is really breeding them. Do you sell yours and where are you from? I'd be interested in buying a couple. If selling let me know a price ok?
And do you know anyone else that is breeding them? I saw a guy in the classifieds a bit ago that listed CBB phantas. I think his name was steve koch or something but I cant find any info on him at all.
Thanks
Eric
steven hoch is from south carolina, his name on here is geckoholic. i dont think he's selling any right now, last time i heard from him the only cb's he had were males. might try neil meister, but i wouldnt doubt it if he's out of stock (he's also in canada). if you're looking for cb phants, best way to go abou it is do it yourself, because you could wait months and months before they show up anywhere on the web.
Hey thanks. I didnt want to do it myself because of the WC's with all the parasites. I have a rather large Rhac collection (over 100 adults and prob values over 20k) that I dont want any real risk of contamination. I dont really have the capacity to quar. for that long of time to get them cleared out either.
I was also hoping to find someone on the east cost here so I could drive to get them, with these temps I wouldnt want to have them shipped. I am on the Delaware/Maryland line so going anywhere from Boston to NC wouldnt be difficult.
Anyway, thanks for the input.
Eric
