Graceful chameleon left in care of friend of mine, she doesnt know what to do.

A friend of a friend who I often speak to online in Toronto, Ontario has been left with a chameleo gracilis, Graceful chameleon. I'm 90% sure of its species, she sent a pi that looked similar and I sent pics her way and she acknowledged it to be a gracilis.

I know nothing of them, please educate me so I can tell her. She may show up on this forum, I gave her a link.

I don't know much about the setup her friend has, she has been too busy to tell me and I gav eher the basics for the next day or two. Sounds like the graceful (confirmed as a female by the owner) has the right lighting, on a timer. He also has a mister in the room and I instructed my friend on how to mist the cham daily.

Anything extra I should mention? I'm going to talk to her for sure in the next day or two to give her everything.

Thanks alot! Always trying to help a cham!

PS, i'm in Barbados on vacation, staying with family, and was willing to call the humane Society of Toronto if she didn't confirm a proper setup or care that the owner previously offered, or if she could not provide care. Lots of lizards around the house here, anolis, hous geckos, and red-footed tortoises, native to Barbados! VERY cool!!!

It might be easiest to refer her to the care articles on www.adcham.com, www.chameleonnews.com, and www.chameleonjournals.com

They should give her a little info on the species and the basics of care and setups. Assuming she has internet at home she could do this any time.
