I want to do something JUST for my iguanas on christmas. I live in Kansas so a trip outside ain't going to happen. Anyone have any ideas? What about a vegan deseret type thing? Anyone know of a store online with iguana "toys" or anything like that?

I'm going to get Forest a baby brush for Christmas. One for newborn so it has VERY soft bristles, ya know?

Someone on here said they had one for their ig. Forest is shedding around his head right now & I've seen him rubbing his head on the railroad ties that border our flower beds when he's outside.

I'm thinking he'd love a good rub with a soft bristled baby brush.

I also got him some orange scented liquid soap for his baths. He LOVES oranges so he should be loving life after a bath & a brush.

Like I said, not very original or inventive but hey....LOL

I have a little pink brush for him, it's a baby brush just like you said! I hope your ig loves it too. Happy holidays!

I saw a picture in James Hatfield's book of a birthday cake he used to make for his iguana every year. It had a cool reddish squash for a candle and flame, and he wrote the iguana's name on the little cake with vegetarian icing. I think it was some kind of greens all pureed up into an icing.

Sometimes for a present I get my iguana the freshest greens I can, especially basil, which he loves, and I stick the whole bunch in his cage. Or a bowl of all fruit chopped up.

This year I'm considering cutting some white bread into little stars or something to make Christmas "cookies" for my iguana. Sad, isn't it! But he's my little baby and it will be fun. For me at least. Bud will just be skeptical and suspicious of the silly "two-leggeds" who bring him stuff to eat, as usual.
