Last night before I went to bed I put four crickets (all with pinched rear legs) in his ceramic cricket bowl, and this morning there was only two left. I took everything out of the cage except for the hide he was in, and I couldn't find a one of them, so I think he ate a couple. I put five in tonight and am hoping to see a few missing tomorrow. He appears as though he has shed completely. Before he shed he was in his humid hide all of the time and now he hasn't been in there since, so I think he's done shedding. I think it was just the stress of shedding and me having to take him out to change his cage liner. If he doesn't settle back in by, say, christmas, I'll investigate further, but for now I think it's probably best to just leave the little guy alone. My mom said he was up and about this morning (I even saw him sitting out in the middle of his cage before I went to school), so he's not completely inactive.
So now it's just basically a matter of waiting and seeing how his behavior changes in the next few days. Last week was his first week home, and he ate a bunch of crickets (6 or more a day). It's just wierd that right now he all of a sudden stopped.
