SICK TORTISE? HELP! KINDA LONG

laden0827 Dec 20, 2004 10:22 PM

Hi I have a 7 month old sulcata named Little Guy. I noticed yesterday he has some watery stool and today he had some also and his appetite was a little down. He is inside in a big pet keeper becuase right now it is very cold at night. Well tonight he just paced and paced and was up til about 9:30 and he is normally in bed by 7:00 at the latest!
He did eat a little romaine today and some pellets with his normal reptivite and he finally settled down. I was taking the fact that he hated being cooped up inside and this cold weather had him antsy but my bf is a mess with worry. If anyone has any idea and can shed some light on this I would appreciate it soo much. Thanks!

Ashley

If it's got runny fecals there is a good chance of parasites being present. A vet visit might be in order.

In the mean time soak it daily and make sure the temps are 80 to 100F and make sure the ground temps are close to this.
