Rhino Iguanas spraying salt?? I just read something about this, can anyone explain?

I'm going to assume the writer was describing a sneeze. Rhino Iguanas, as well as Green Iguanas, expel excess salt from their bodies thru sneezing. It's a natural process and usually not something to be concerned about.

I thought all iguana's did that. My iguana sneezes salt all the time.

My igg sneeze very often too, preferably on his glass door, making wonderful decoration..lol

lol tiny does the exact same thing.

we used to think it was him diving from the top of his cage into his water... but when we took out his water... it kept on coming!
