Russians beak need help

RyanDonnelly Dec 21, 2004 08:46 AM

my russians beak is getting pretty long and i have read many times now that i need to trim it. How should i go about doing so? should i take him to the vet and have them do it or can i do it myself? If i have to take them to the vet how much doese this procedure normally cost? Thanks a lot Ryan

If you've never done this it is a good idea to get another tortoise keeper who is familiar with the practice to show you ot have a vet do it and ask to watch them to it so you have an idea of what to do.

after doing as Ed said you should set up a proper feeding area and add some rocks to the enclosure to avoid this in the future.
