Well its been 8 days sense i cleaned my frogs tank.. he didnt take it to well and hasnt eaten yet.. he never comes out of his hole either and hes still a juv.. Should i remove some ov the substrate so he cant dig so deep where hes hidden? He use to have his hea above the substrate and i wouls put the food in front of him and he would take it but now hes to deep for me even to find him half the time..

I put just enough substrate in mine to where they can have it surrounding their sides but are not complety covered. That way they feel secure but you can still see them. Mine are doing great and have a healthy appetite with that setup. What are you feeding them? mine cant resist a pinky/mouse(depending on size), sometimes they wont touch a cricket but they'll gobble up them.

I don't know if this is correct, but what I do is after I clean the cage instead of puttin him on the substrate I put him in his water bowl for a soak. I don't imagine that your frog will spring away too quickly, and both my frogs will eat when they're in their water, quite zealously I might add. Hope that helps
