I use a Helix 1500watt with my large incubator.
Maintains temps accurately.........I don't know about the other?

I was close to buying a herpstat... the herpstat looks really good.. I like the fact that it has more than one button heh! I also like the fact that it has an incubator mode, which allows you to set temp in 1/10th degrees... however, I didn't know anything about them as far as reliability.. couldn't really find reviews or anything like that.. also, how precise are they? I just didn't know, so I went with Helix DBS1000... incubator not done yet, but the DBS1000 is ready and waiting

Good luck,
Bristen.

I have used the Helix for years and personally prefer the Herpstat. Not that there is anything wrong with the Helix I just like the additional features and support the Herpstat has. Since the Herstat was introduced earlier this year new features have been added per individual recommendations. There was a thread started on Chondroforum and someone mentioned having 1/10 of a degree setting for incubation purposes. In the next few days it was introduced into the Herpstat and that is how all of them are shipped now. Also when that feature was added there was an option for existing customers to send their unit in and have it upgraded. The support from the manufacturer is top notch. As for accuracy, without going with high end lab grade equipment you can not find a digital sensor on the market with a higher degree of accuracy.

Also if you do a search on GOOGLE you will find some additional reviews.
