Very interesting website , but do you know all the nutriments ( what vitamins ( A , C , D , E etc ) , what sugars ( sucrose , glocose etc ) , what proteins ( tryptophan , threonine , isoleucine etc ) and all the rest ) they need and they don't need ?
Excuse for my bad english , i'm french !
I hope you will understand my question....
Bye
Adrien
Generally when I am looking at the nutrition of a fruit or vegetables I am looking at the vitamin C content. Vitamin helps assure a good shed. As for as other vitamins and protein a tegu gets all it needs from a primary rodent diet. As a hatchling it is important to feed mostly crickets dusted with a good calcium. As they get bigger you can still feed dusted crickets as long as they will take them.
