I figured this fourm hosted the most knowledgeable individuals on agamid health, so if you don't mind I'll pick your brains.

I have a pair of spiny agamas (Agama aculeata) which were undoubtedly W/C. While the male is doing well, the female is demonstrating fairly odd behaviour possibly stress or illness (or stress from illness) related. Behaviours are closed eyes (which obviously affects feeding), excessive soaking and occasional slight gaping of the mouth while basking. I have dewormed them with flagyl. Her SVL is aprox 3 inches. Caging conditions are 20 gal.long tank, basking light(95-98 deg) sand substrait with climbing logs for basking and privacy, ambient temps: 90-84 deg thermogradient, low humidity, UVB and water dish. Male shows no dominant behaviour or interest in her at all.

Thanks for your thoughts.
