Glad to see some familiar people back on the forum. Well it has been a long strange trip but i have finally found my place in life.
I am going back to school for Veterinary Medical technology. I will be working on getting accreditation for Techs specializing in Reptile and Avian medicine...and to do what has been needed to be done for a long time....aid in the Further research of reptile adenovirus.
I have missed you all so much! Hope everyone and their babies are doing well...my reptile collection is whittling down. Lost tequila our chameleon, adopted out Yoshi our savannah monitor, adopted out one of our frillies, and Franz....well he's not doing well at all. Ever since his surgery he has been depressed and he woke up from brumation (a very long one) and he is blind and has 3 tumors so we will be having to put him to sleep. :~(
Hope there have been more strides to stop the spread of this horrible epidemic. I have experienced it first hand along with many other loving beardie parents and it is devastating. No words can comfort the loss of your babies. The only comfort comes from using a bad situation to learn and teach positive outcomes to prevent the same thing from happening again or to someone else.
On a more positive note, i just completed my first semester of VMT school with a 4.0!!!!
Just going to chill and relax, hope the rest of you are doing the same!!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

I wished i could have contributed more...but that is what im going back to school for now, so i can finish up what i started for you and everyone else who has experienced the pain and sorrow of loss and felt helpless while watching your babies suffer....i do this for the plight of the captive bred dragons of the world. If something isn't done there will come a day when they will all be gone.
