At htis time of year your probably not going to find any available, might try Desert Reptiles, if nothing else in the spring they will have them avialable but before you spend the money and purchase the animals please go to our web-site and take in as much information as you can about horned lizards as they are not a simple lizard to keep in captivity and there is a real investment proper caging, several lights of different types with holders, correct substrate and also a committment to purchase ants to keep them healthy which runs about $10.00 per 500. An animal can eat up to 75 to 100 at a sitting. So you need to read up on these "before" you make the decision to get a pair. CHeers!!

I have kept them before... and I can honestly say he was the neatest most wonderful pet ever... and boy could he eat Ants and roaches and crickets... I got him from some guys stationed in 29palms he refused to stay out from under their jeep... so they brought him to me... I had him several years... no telling his age before I got him... But I would love to raise the TX HL but they do not allow it... so I would settle for another desert! Anyway thanks for the info! Cat
