Wax Worms

Walker360 Dec 21, 2004 04:50 PM

I ordered some wax worms for my 2 month and 4 month old chameleons, though I think they're too big for the 2 month old. How many wax worms a day should I give them? I will also be feeding them their routine crickets.

I would only feed them one or two as a treat every three days, unless you ordered a 1000. Wax worms really have a lot of fat and shouldn't be used as a regular part of a Cham's diet. Superworms also fall into this category. Good food items for everyday feeding are of course Crickets, Termites, Silkworms, Roaches and Houseflies. Hope this helps.
