'02 Mex mex headshot............

jlassiter Dec 21, 2004 10:12 PM

I got this Mex mex (San Luis Potosi) Kingsnake and was told it was a female. As the old story goes it wound up being a male. I really like his head pattern and nuchal stripe. I am using him as a backup male this year. If he breeds it will be his first year.
Thanks for looking,
-John Lassiter-

Do you think the head pattern looks more like a "Mercedes emblem" or a "skull" of some sort?

Thanks Tom,
Last year I had a Thayeri with a skull head. I sold her. I could have had a Metal Thayer too, Huh? Too bad my wife named the Mex mex Mercedes

I see those much more than a skull.

I would have named it Mercedes, too. Beautiful critter. How does their disposition compare with other Kings?

Mex mex are very docile and almost never bite. I would compare its disposition to that of Alterna (greybands) and Thayeri (Nuevo Leon kings).
I really do not know why they aren't as popular as they should be. They are still cool to me.
