Questions about my new beardie

sunbirdx Dec 21, 2004 10:50 PM

Hey all
My new beardie is exactly 7 inches from nose to tail tip. Does this give any indication of age? I bought him from a pet store that said he was about 4 months old, but from all I have read, he must be terribly undersized. Any ideas? I would be willing to bet the petstore was probably wrong about his age. He is doing great and eats like pig (except his greens...)but I hope he didnt get a bad start on life.
Also, he has bright orange markings under his ear, and along his jaw, as well as having a yellowish brown head and forarms...is he going to get more colorful as he grows? The petstore said he was a sandfire x normal...
Any info would be great, thanks!
Rachel

The dragon I just got is around the size same (maybe 1/4-1/2 inch shorter) and he's only 2 months. If that dragon was fed right, 2-3 months sounds more like it...but 4 is still possible.
